Psalm 11:2 Says: If the foundations are destroyed what can
the righteous do? We live in a time when our foundations
are being destroyed. The foundations of our country are
being destroyed.
The principles that we stand for are being dismissed as old
fashioned. Even in our churches the foundations are
crumbling. Some have chosen to let the world influence us
instead of the other way around. The world's music is now
popular in some services. Preachers have chosen to make
people feel good instead of telling them the truth.
Jeremiah 6:16 says, "Stand in the way and see, and ask for
the old paths, where the good way is and walk in it, then
you will find rest for your souls."
Our goal at First
Baptist Ratcliff is to keep the strong foundation that has
been built over 100 years. We think the old paths are the
best paths and you will find rest for your souls. Sounds
nice doesn't it? We hope you would consider coming and
being a part of a strong foundation as we walk the old paths
together.
